Dr. Mitesh Badiani BDS DPDS
Dr Badiani took over Victoria Road Dental Practice in 1993, the practice started as a 3 bed semi-detached property further down Victoria Road. In 2002 having outgrown these premises, 162 Victoria Road was purchased and turned into the state of the art modern practice you see today and comprises of 6 surgeries and conference facilities.
Dr Badiani's special interests include Dental Implants, IV Sedation and Cosmetic dentistry. Dr Badiani has recently completed a course in New Orleans, USA and is able to offer "smile makeovers" as seen on television. He has learnt techniques from America's finest "smile makeover" dentists.
As well as treating patients he is also an honorary lecturer in Dental Implants for the University of Warwick and GIFT (General Implant Forum & Training). Dr Badiani lectures and mentors in local anaesthesia and the "WAND" (computerised local anaesthetic delivery system), he also mentors for two dental implant systems - Osteo-Ti and Ankylos.
Dr Badiani is member of British Dental Association, Association of Dental Implantology, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Katherine Holt BDS
Dr K Holt qualified from Guys, Kings and St Thomas Dental School in 2003, after completing her vocational training year at Victoria Road Dental Practice. She then spent two years working with children, the elderly, and special needs patients in a hospital environment. After this she returned to Victoria Road as she couldn't stay away!
Dr Holt
enjoys all aspects of dentistry, she is an approachable dentist with a sympathetic attitude towards patients needs.
Dr Andrew Pickering BDS
Dr Andrew Pickering qualified with Dr Badiani in 1991 at Newcastle University. He initially worked and trained in Newcastle Dental Hospital as a houseman in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery, as well as gaining some early training in oral and maxillofacial surgery as a senior houseman at Truro city hospital before entering general practice.
Dr Pickering and Dr Badiani took over Croydon House and Victoria Road dental practices in 1995. They both completed an Osteo-Ti one year Implant Training Programme culminating in the introduction of implants to Croydon House.
Dr Pickering left to work for a while in Scotland as a lead clinician and Senior Dental Officer in Oral Surgery working between general practice and hospital. He was also an accredited vocational trainer for newly qualified dentists entering their first year in general practice.
Dr Pickering is in surgery on Wednesdays and also works at Croyden House Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Dr. Paula Trower BDS
Dr Trower trained at Bristol University and qualified in 1979. She came to the practice in 2005.
Dr Trower works on Tuesdays at the practice.

Lynn Badiani RDN
Practice Coordinator
Lynn is a qualified Dental Nurse. She is married to Dr Badiani and they met when he was a student in Newcastle. Their daughter Nina was born around the same time Mitesh qualified.
When Victoria Road Practice relocated in 2002, Lynn was responsible for what the patients see today, and has also worked her magic on Croydon House.
Lynn is constantly promoting both practices and installing the high standards of professional care that our patients benefit from. BDA Good Practice Scheme, Investor in People Award, 5 nominations in Practice of the Year Award 2004...these are just a part of Lynn's behind the scenes activities.
Joan Colmer
Practice Manager
Joan joined Victoria Road Dental Practice in 1978 bringing her experience as a Dental Nurse with her and continued onto work as a receptionist and then working towards the position of Practice Manager when the practice relocated in 2002.
Joan ensures that the practice continues working towards BDA good practice guide, Investors in People and works closely with old and new patients of the practice.
Debbie Juster
Deputy Practice Manager
Debbie joined the practice in April 2002 before it relocated to where it is today. Debbie has worked her way to Deputy Practice Manager and works alongside Joan with the daily running and management of the practice.
Debbie promotes high standards of professional care for all our patients and plays an important role within the dental team.
Dental Nurses
Amanda Hosking RDN DCP OHE
Senior Dental Nurse
Amanda started with the practice in 1995 as a qualified dental nurse having 9 years experience in chairside assisting, oral surgery and as a trainer of new dental nurses.
Now Amanda is a mentor and trainer for new staff within the nursing team and also manages the daily running of the practice. Not forgetting in between getting married and having two boys.
Amanda completed her radiography course at Bristol University in 1998 and recently gained the qualification in Oral Health Education. Amanda is a member of the British Assosiation of Implantology and has assisted accross the country in various Implant procedures.
Kerry West RDN DCP
Deputy Head Dental Nurse
Kerry has been working in the Plymouth Practice since 2002 and has worked her way to Deputy Head Dental Nurse. Kerry is qualified in Dental Sedation and recently passed her Radiography exam this year (2008).
Kerry is currently on maternity leave having had her baby girl in September 2008 and will return to the practice in May 2009.
Leila Matthews RDN DCP
Dental Nurse
Leila joined our team in June 2006 as a Trainee Dental Nurse and recently passed her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in July 2008.
Now Leila is qualified she will continue more training and is currently working towards her Radiography qualification and will also assist Dr Badiani with Dental Implants and sedation in the future.
Carmel Landricombe
Trainee Dental Nurse
Carmel joined the practice as a Trainee Dental Nurse in August 2006. She is currently working towards her National Certificate in Dental Nursing and has just recently taken the National Exam in November this year (2008) and is awaiting her results.
Carmel is a valued member of the team and currently assists Dr Holt in surgery.

Victoria Ogden
Head Receptionist
Victoria started working for Dr Badiani in June 2002 before the practice relocated to where it is today. She has worked her way to head receptionist and she enjoys being part of our team.
Victoria is currently on maternity leave and has just had her third baby girl in August 2008 and will return back to the practice in May 2009.
Andrea Hambly
Receptionist
Andrea joined our team in June 2006 as part of our reception team. She has a key role in assisting our patients and dealing with any queries and making appointments.
